Rosic Analytics and Solutions Inc. is an Ontario company. This policy covers rosicaas.ca and the ways we handle personal information as a business. Questions about anything on this page go to david@rosicaas.ca.
The contact form asks for your name, email address, an optional phone number, and your message. Submitting it sends that information to our inbox through an automation server we run ourselves. We use it to respond to you, and for nothing else. If we end up working together, our correspondence becomes part of normal business records.
Like any website, the servers that deliver this site process technical data such as IP addresses in transit. The site is served by Cloudflare, which handles that data as part of hosting and protecting it. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to see aggregate page statistics: visits, pages viewed, load times. It works without cookies, does not follow you across the web, and does not give us your identity.
Separately from this website, we contact businesses as part of our own outreach. That work uses publicly available business contact information: names, roles, and work email addresses. Every message includes a working unsubscribe, and once you opt out we keep your address on a permanent suppression list so you are not contacted again.
This site does not set tracking, advertising, or analytics cookies. There is no cookie banner because there is nothing to consent to.
Form submissions and correspondence are stored on infrastructure we operate and on our email service. Some of these servers may be located outside your province or outside Canada. Access is limited to the people who need it to respond to you.
We do not sell personal information. We do not share it with third parties for their marketing. The only parties that touch it are the providers that host our infrastructure, and authorities where the law requires it.
We keep inquiries for as long as needed to handle them, and business records for as long as the law and ordinary bookkeeping require. After that, they are deleted.
You can ask what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Email david@rosicaas.ca and we will answer within a reasonable time. These rights come from Canada's federal privacy law, PIPEDA, and for Quebec residents, from Quebec's private-sector privacy law. If you are not satisfied with our answer, you can raise the matter with the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada or, in Quebec, the Commission d'accès à l'information.
If our practices change, this page changes with them, along with the date at the top.
